Independence Day

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal,

that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights,

that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Independence Day.  You don’t hear that so much anymore; it’s the Fourth, or Fourth of July.  Almost like we are celebrating a day off, rather than the event for which the day commemorates.  How many of us will remember to fly a flag on that day?

Independence Day.  For those of us at Bickimer Homes, it will be a day to take time out and give thanks for the men who 242 years ago courageously took a stand against Tyranny.  It will be a family day, a happy birthday celebration.

Independence Day.  In these divisive times, it is easy to forget that we are part of a great country, and that we should never take for granted the freedom we enjoy.

Bickimer Homes.  We are proud to live in a country where we can build houses for a living.  Houses that will become homes for families of every race and creed, families who are endowed with the unalienable right to pursue a life that will bring them happiness.
